This game is as close to real golf as it gets without
incumbent weather or long tee times. Players begin with a driver, looking off the tee down
the fairway. Infrared sensors trace the path, speed and rotations of each ball to
accurately determine the distance and directions.
Balls hit the video screen and, instantaneously, a video
rendition of the ball continues on the screen.. Incidentally, the screen is showing
computer generated images of your choice of several popular golf courses. The ball's path
is superimposed over the computer generated golf course, and players are ready to take the
next shot. Frequently, contests are held to determine which player is closest to the pin,
the longest drive, or lowest score. Players can play any number of holes and are able to
choose from three different courses.
